Q :
Why will companies pay me to fill out surveys or
participate in focus groups?
A:
Companies need to know what regular people think of their products, and why they
bought it. By providing companies with this information, you are giving them the
information they need to be more successful.
Q : What kinds of
questions will I be asked?
A :
You’ll be asked questions about products that you buy and use regularly. What
you like, what you don’t like and what you might want in the future.
Q : What is a focus group?
A :
A group of people hired to discuss a given topic. The topic will relate to the
company that’s paying for the discussion. You may or may not be told who that
company is during the discussion. The company uses this information to help
develop new products or improve what they already sell. These meeting can be
held online or at a local meeting hall.
Q : How many surveys can I
take?
A :
There is no limit. The more companies you register with the more surveys and
focus groups you will be invited to participate in.
Q : How long are the
surveys?
A :
They vary. They can be as
short as 10 questions to 50 or more questions. Of course the longer surveys pay
more.
Q : How long are the focus
groups?
A :
Focus groups can last several
hours to a whole day.
Q : How
much money can I make?
A :
The amount of money you make
will depend number of surveys you complete.
Q : Do I need to fit a
certain profile?
A :
To register you do not need to fit any profile. However some surveys may be
offered to only people who match certain profiles from time to time. For
example, a baby food company may only want new mothers, or a computer supplier
may only want people with a technical background.
Q : Can anyone do this?
A :
You usually need to be over 18
Q : Do I have to be USA
based to do this?
A :
No, you can live anywhere, and you don't have to be a US citizen.
Q : Will I get paid per
survey or per hour?
A :
That depends on the company offering the survey. Some pay cash per survey, some
offer cash gift cards, and some pay every 2 weeks.
Q : Do I have to pay
taxes?
A :
Yes. You are considered a 1099 independent contractor. Each company that pays
you over $600 in one year will require your tax ID or social security number.
Q : Who will pay me?
A :
The research company that gives the survey or focus group will pay you.
Q : Can I do this on my
own without joining?
A :
It may take you a while, but you could find one or two survey companies that are
currently looking for participants. You may make $20. But you can not make good
money or even a living on that. And you could get scammed by giving out your
personal information.
That's why joining this site
makes sense. We have 300+ companies to work with. And they are all screened and
tested. There are a lot of scams and middlemen out there. Some so-called free
sites, just collect information on YOU to spam you later or resell your profile
to a mailing company. There are also middlemen sites that only pay $1-$4 per
survey (they are getting paid $10-$50 and keeping the rest!).
The $39 registration is a small
drop in the bucket compared to what you get. This is the kind of resource I
would have killed for when just starting out. You can take advantage of my
experience and avoid the scams and middlemen sites and deal direct with the
research companies. That means your making money sooner. And by working with the
huge pool of companies we have your making a lot more money.
Q : Are you a survey
company?
A :
No, we are not a research or survey company. We are a membership website that
provides our members with direct access to the 100’s of research companies
looking for help along with step by step instructions and tools.
Q. I don't have a Credit Card.
How else can I pay?
A. The payment processor can take electronic checks, paypal or debit
cards.
Q : How soon can I start
earning money?
A :
That depends on how many companies you can register with. The more companies you
get signed up with the more likely you will get surveys right away. Many,
many people are now earning good money doing this, so don't think you can't too.
Q : Can you take my
membership fee out of the money I’ll be earning?
A :
We are not the ones who will be paying you, so we can’t do that. We provide a
membership service with tools and direct access to all the research companies,
but the research companies will be the ones paying you.
